1. Operator, version and contact

The Leksio service provider and operator is Leksio sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw at ul. Żurawia 6/12 lok. 745, 00-503 Warszawa, Poland, entered in the Polish commercial register by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in Warsaw, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS 0001264046, tax ID (NIP) 7011330213, REGON 545666406, share capital PLN 10,000. Service and complaint contact: [email protected].

This is version 1.0 of the Terms, effective from 2026-09-18. The Polish version is binding; translations are informational.

2. Definitions

Consumer means a natural person using the service outside their trade, business or profession. Consumer-like sole trader means a natural person entering into an agreement directly related to their business where the agreement is not professional in nature for that person, in particular having regard to the business objects disclosed in the Polish CEIDG register.

Business User means a person or organisation using the Leksio website in connection with business, including an advocate, attorney-at-law or another person practising a legal profession.

Report means a public analytical publication by Leksio. Q&A means public, editorially prepared questions and answers; it is not a channel for submitting individual matters.

Waitlist means the free service of notifying a person about the launch of further Leksio features, ordered by providing an email address and selecting a role. Joining the Waitlist does not create a user account. Service means a function supplied electronically by Leksio.

3. Current scope and nature of Leksio

At the “Before launch” stage Leksio supplies free of charge: public Reports, public editorial Q&A and the Waitlist. Website security and support are auxiliary only. Leksio does not create new user accounts at this stage.

Leksio is not a law firm, gives no individual legal advice, does not accept matters for conduct and does not represent the User. Reports and Q&A are general, cite editorially selected sources and do not replace analysis of specific facts.

Other planned features, including the Legal Information System, case submission and offer comparison, are outside Terms 1.0 and are not active Services. Functional expansion is planned for the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2026; before activation it will receive separate documents and a fresh-acceptance mechanism.

4. Formation and duration

The agreement for public Reports and Q&A is formed when the content is opened and lasts for that session. Using them requires no data and no registration.

The Waitlist agreement is formed once the Terms have been accepted, an email address supplied and confirmed through the link in the message. It lasts until the launch notification is sent or until the person leaves the list, whichever is earlier. An unconfirmed entry expires after 30 days.

The Terms are made available before agreement in a form that can be saved, downloaded and printed. A person may leave the Waitlist without charge at any time by writing to [email protected].

5. Requirements and security

A person joining the Waitlist must be at least 18 and have full legal capacity. A connected device, current browser and active email address are required.

The person supplies their own email address and a truthful role. Typical internet risks include phishing and malware; Leksio never asks for passwords or payment details in its messages.

Users must not provide unlawful content or malicious code, bypass safeguards, disrupt the Service, impersonate another person or retrieve content by automated means in breach of the website rules.

6. Reports, editorial Q&A and content

Reports are based on the public sources and editorial methodology identified in them. Leksio may correct, update and archive them; a publication/update date does not mean continuous monitoring of every legal or practical change.

Q&A is a collection of questions selected and prepared by the editorial team. Users cannot submit their own matter, facts or request an individual answer there. Reports and Q&A are not legal advice, a recommendation or a promise of outcome.

Leksio content, layout, software and marks are protected. Ordinary personal use and mandatory statutory uses are permitted; access must not be resold and a substantial part of the database must not be copied without consent.

7. Waitlist

The person supplies an email address and indicates whether they are looking for a lawyer or practise a legal profession; the remaining form fields are voluntary. Leksio sends one message with a confirmation link and, after confirmation, a notification about the launch of further features.

Joining creates no account, is not a case submission, reserves no service and creates no duty to enter into any further agreement. A place on the list gives no priority that Leksio has not expressly described.

Leksio sends notifications about new Reports only to people who gave separate, voluntary consent; it can be withdrawn at any time. Accounts created before version 1.0 took effect are not publicly operated at this stage; their holder may request account deletion at any time by writing to [email protected].

8. Free service and ending use

Reports, Q&A and the Waitlist are free of charge. Leksio charges no subscription, commission or other fee for them and requires no payment details.

At this stage Leksio does not intermediate in agreements with lawyers, presents no offers of legal assistance and handles no payments. Information about planned features is not an offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code.

Leksio may refuse or remove a Waitlist entry where proportionately necessary for security, law, protection of persons or Terms enforcement; on request it provides reasons unless law or safety prevents this. A person may leave the Waitlist without charge at any time.

9. Complaints

A complaint may be sent to [email protected] or the Operator’s address. It is helpful to include the email address used to join, issue description/date and requested solution; missing details do not deprive a Consumer of rights.

Leksio responds within 14 days of receipt. If supplementation is needed, it identifies the information and the period runs under mandatory law.

Comments on a Report or a Q&A answer, including an error in data or a source, may be submitted the same way; Leksio corrects confirmed errors and marks the update date.

10. Consumers and consumer-like sole traders

Digital-service consumer law applies to Consumers and, to the statutory extent, consumer-like sole traders. Leksio is responsible for non-conformity during continuous supply and provides updates needed to maintain conformity.

The entitled person may demand conformity. Price reduction does not apply to a free service; termination is available in statutory cases. Leksio may refuse where conformity is impossible or entails disproportionate statutory costs.

Nothing excludes mandatory rights. After complaints, a Consumer may use Trade Inspection arbitration or mediation or a consumer ombudsman; information is at uokik.gov.pl. Leksio’s participation is voluntary unless legally required.

11. Right of withdrawal

A Consumer and eligible consumer-like sole trader may generally withdraw from a distance agreement within 14 days without reason. The period starts on formation; an unequivocal statement sent before expiry is sufficient.

Send it to [email protected] or the Operator. Model: “I, [name], withdraw from the agreement concerning the Waitlist, entered into on [date], for email [address]. Date and signature if on paper.” The model is optional.

A request to start supply before the deadline alone does not remove withdrawal from an ongoing service. Statutory exceptions and effects apply. Independently, a person may leave the Waitlist without charge at any time.

12. Business, liability and future releases

A Business User is responsible for lawful use of the Service, including how Reports and Q&A are used in professional practice. General materials do not replace independent analysis of sources.

The Operator is a microenterprise. At this stage Leksio supplies no online intermediation services: it presents no offers of Business Users, runs no ranking and does not facilitate transactions with consumers.

For business without Consumer or consumer-like protection, because the Services are free, aggregate liability is capped at PLN 1,000. It excludes intentional harm and liability that cannot legally be excluded; lost profit and consequences of decisions based on general materials are excluded to the permitted extent.

Polish law applies. Business disputes go to the court for the Operator’s registered office; Consumer protections remain. The functional expansion planned for the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2026 is outside Terms 1.0 and will require new documents and express acceptance before launch.
